Items that aren't really clear.

Okay, so some of the items may not easily be clear as to what they are. Some are open to interpereation, for example 'stinkbug'. Now, i don;t know what a stinkbug is, so you can get creative with that. However, some items ar just something obscure, and a quick search of google may uncover the answer, like 'Grey poupon mustard'.

I've checked, and there is access to these things around MBC. They might not be MBC people, but they can be done. And be careful - there is something distinctive about TLC where's wally shirts and I'll know the difference.

Items 74 and 184

Altug is a local hero in Balwyn. A search of the internet (and facebook) may provide clues. He can be found, apparantly, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

General Tips

Point values are a guide. If something has been assigned a high points value, it probably means that it is something difficult to do. If you find a way of doing it really easily, perhaps we will take points away. In the same way, if you invest a lot of time in a fairly simple item, we may see fit to award bonus points.

Item 139: Hengky's Ladder

Hengky wants to buy a ladder to do some odd jobs around his house, Before buying one, Hengky wants to do some equations to figure out how long a ladder needs to be to reach certain parts of his house, while negotiating obstacles like fences.

There is a fence that runs parralel to the house, and the ladder must be grounded on the far side of it.

The Fence is 1.2 metres high, and 1 metre from the house.

The ladder must be able to sit under the eaves of the house.

The ladder must be placed between 45 & 70 degrees to the ground, for safety.

With this data, please find the minimum possible ladder length that fits the constraints.
